	A Short History of a Long Standing Tradition: Caliche Con Carne was formed in the mid-90's by James Jordan, a regular on the Tucson Punk and Underground music scene for over 15 years. The band has become a staple in Tucson night clubs, headlining local gigs monthly, and opening for some of the Alt Country scene's biggest stars on a regular basis. Caliche combines a Country sensitivity with Gospel drive and a south of the border influence to form it's own unique blend of authentic styles. The band can perform in a variety of formats to suit the needs of the venue, either as a full acoustic bluegrass unit, or a full on rocking country fiesta.
